Upon extensive research about this company, this is what I have found out. There is no company by the name of American Show Homes which has been in business since 1994 in Riverside County, Los Angeles County, or San Bernardino County. In fact, what I have found out is that the forms that are downloaded from their website are forms from another company which is not affiliated with these people. The name of the other company is a registered trademarked name, and these people "borrowed" that name and filed an LLC containing that name on April 23, 2009. The very day the BBB gave them an A+ rating.
The man running the company claiming he is not the owner, but is the only person reachable with the company is representing himself as selling exclusive territories for selling their services. However, I know personally two people who gave their money to this company and found out that the company is a sham. While they still maintain the website, they won't even respond to the people who purchased their "protected" territory. The owner of the company is not reachable except through email and only calls from a blocked number which she will not give out.
There are multiple complaints filed with the Federal Trade Commission about the two individuals Kimberly Peraza and Robert Larson, who have also sold another business (Moving company) in October of 2008, that was issued a cease and desist order by the California P.U.C. in October of 2008. And they didn't disclose that order to the purchaser of the business. There is also a complaint filed with the internet fraud website about the advertising techniques being used by this company.
I don't know what information the BBB used to issue the A+ rating, but it can't be verifiable information with the exception of the LLC of American Show Homes LLC which was really filed, and it was filed the same day the BBB gave the A+ rating. I don't understand the BBB giving such a high rating to a company that hadn't been in business for one day. I thought the BBB was much more concerned about consumers than that.
Based upon the information I, as an individual have been able to find out about this company, I cannot recommend them or any of their services. They have not been able to show any verifiable information to me.
