My wife and I recently attended a free dinner after being invited by friends that are financial clients of ths compny for some time now. They told us they didn't really care what was happening in the stock market because they made money when it went up and NEVER lost money. Ofcourse that sounded kind of crazy to us but we know these people for a long time so we went. We hav been to several of these events before and did not expect to do anything but eat. The speaker was Tom Penland. It was a very well presented, clear, informative and not too long. It was about different kinds of annuities. Many things were cleared up for us and what our friends were saying made more sense. After looking up the company on the BBB we made an appointment and felt really comfortable with the pressure free meeting. Our questions were answered so that we understood and we actually decided to do business with the company and Mr. Penland. It was a good experience all the way. I would give five stars but I just believe there is always room to be better, though I have no suggestions on how it could be improved.
