Review 6/15/2011

Very similar to reviews below. Luckily I did not buy. They are also marketing under Marketing Annuities, Inc. Received a call on 6/14/11 from a Jack Ryan attempting to sell pre-qualified preset client appointments for financial planning and annuities. He wanted me to take an initial 3 leads @ $65 each and they would give an additional lead at no cost. It sounded interesting until I inquired further. Initial red flag, they wanted a check sent to their corporate office. They do not accept debit or credit cards. I asked for references from satisfied customers and was told that privacy issues prevented disclosure. I then checked their websit and found a statement "References provided upon request". When I questioned that statement, I received alot of double talk. I asked if I could purchase 1 lead and see how it goes. He said that he would have to check and let me know. Within minutes, I received an email from Frank Roberts, offering 3 leads for the price of 2. Next red flag, his email signature listed him as "Chef" Executive Officer. I did a reverse address search on their corporate address and company did not come up as a tenant in that building. I then checked BBB under both names and both companies have an "F" rating. I then read some reviews and found that many advisors had been taken by this scam. They purchased the service and either received no leads/appointments or went to the appointments and the individuals at the address had no idea about any appointment scheduled. I emailed Jack Ryan that I was no longer interested after checking them out on BBB and to not contact me again. His response was that he was confused since they only had 2 complaints which were more than 18 months ago. He then said that Frank Roberts was on the phone with BBB today clearing up those complaints.
