5 stars drops to 1 star...
My experience with newport lexus was top notch, and have incredibly good things to say about them. Service, work, free car washes, prompt repairs, loaner cars, treated great.
However I feel the victim of fraudulent sales practices. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle, (Or at least was told that it was during the whole process, and how that certification could not be removed, in exchange for lowering price). However, upon trying to use the extended warranty, at a different lexus dealership I was told the car was never registered to corporate as such. I called corporate and although it had been for a previous sale a month prior (I guess the sale didn't go through?) it was not for my sale. They sold me a car with a warranty, but didn't actually submit the paperwork for that warranty, and now claim it was never sold as such.
Even the person at corporate thought it was just a paperwork mistake. However, Newport lexus is claiming it wasn't sold as a certified preowned.
