Do not bring your pet here unless you want to subject your pet to possible abuse. Instead of following my instructions on how I wanted my dog groomed, the groomer Helen, did exactly what I told her not to do-to cut the mats out behind the ears instead of trying to comb through them. She raked so hard through the hair and was so aggressive with my dog's grooming ripping large amounts of hair right out right at the roots, with eventual complete hair loss to the remaining injured follicles of hair behind both ears-completely bald. There was thick scabbing on the top of the head and behind the ears. Owner, Helen, is very customer and pet-unfriendly,abrasive, and completely unwilling to take any remote responsibility and seemed to have no concern for the welfare of the dog. At no point did she try to alleviate any concerns by explaining what cares she took in grooming. She insisted I take her to the vet to prove it wasn't a skin allergy or disease(which the 9-year dog has never had), which I did, labs were ALL negative, and she still refused to refund the grooming and vet bill that she originally said she'd reimburse (totalled $260). Eventually my dog's hair grew back, but even that wasn't proof enough that this injury was caused by her grooming. My other dog I took there at the same time was so traumatized by the experience, she didn't eat for a whole day, vomiting about 5 times until she was vomiting blood!
