I found this company to be friendly on the phone; however, their qualification process is misleading and they do take at least 24 hours to qualify you, so if you're interested in a house that recently listed and it's a great house, you can forget about even having a chance. According to their website they claim to qualify one way and then you send your information in and they qualify you another. When I read their website to the girl she said "Oh, I'll have to get that changed-that's not right". It's been like that since I started looking at their listings over a year ago! Additionally, if you want to hold off letting your landlord know that you are considering moving, this company will not work with you and verify with alternate methods until formal verification can be made, i.e. lease agreement and cancelled checks or once the property has been viewed and your ready to sign a lease. I can understand them wanting it all upfront, but this alone stops me from being able to rent from them. I can work with their "new" way of qualifying, but the landlord issue is too big for me to overcome. Oh well. :(
After reading the other reviews, there are very few from prospective renters and any complaints that are listed and always dismissed as "disgruntled" or "not everyone is going to be happy". I'm sure they'll reply with "can't make everyone happy", but I think they should live up to what they're advertising on the website and they should be able to accomodate those individuals with delays in landlord verification-I'm not saying to never verify, just verify after we think we can make a deal. Also, I don't think that everyone complains on this site and it appears they asked for many of the positive feedback reviews that they have received.
