99% Guaranteed Fraud.
If you lose enough money to Swoopo the item you won gets shipped to you. If you did not lose enough money and look to earn a profit off Swoopo, your item will never ever reach you.
The item will be either on "back order" or "out of stock" when there are several several items that are exactly the same being bid on while "Victoria" tells you they are not available.
I say 99% fraud instead of 100% because if you do lose some money to Swoopo they might send you an item you won.
Here are my "email responses" from Swoopo with in regards to my item that I never received or will ever receive. (NOTICE HOW I AM TOLD MY ITEM IS ALREADY IN TRANSIT TWICE!)
This is email #1:
"Thanks for taking the time to get in touch.
I'm sorry if you did not receive my voicemail. The knives were currently on back order but have now been shipped in transit so you should receive it by the end of the week. I apologize for the delay.
Regards,
-Victoria
This is email #2:
"Thanks for taking the time to get in touch.
I sincerely apologize about the wait. I checked into the order and was provided a tracking number through Fed Ex-XXXXXXXXX Unfortunately since the item is already in transit, I cannot send a refund. You can deny the package, however bids used to win the item will not be refunded.
If you would kindly take the time to fill out our customer service survey. We
would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
Regards,
-Victoria
Swoopo Customer Support"
NOTE: I put XXXX's for the Fed-Ex tracking number because they might have just as well put X's considering it is a phony tracking number considering Fedex says its invalid for a week now since I received this email.
Essentially, I won an item for very cheap, under $2.00 USD. This one was my 2nd item I won but it was shipped before my first item I won. My first item was won for about $30.00 over the actual price, so I lost money but I could not let the "random" person who was also "unknowingly" losing money to make me lose money. So I basically lost alot of money to Swoopo which is why the 2nd item I won for very cheap had a chance of reaching me.
Now if I actually get the 1st item I won from them, then they will be stealing less money from me than before so my order has been in "transit" for 49 shipping days for UPS, UPSP, and Fedex since I made my immediate payment for the item. Now doesn't waiting that many days for an item you paid a great deal of money for that will never reach you sound just dandy?
I can run from Mountain View, CA to San Diego, CA faster while carrying my Mom on my back and balancing an egg on a silver spoon. Oh and I guess I should mention I am overweight by 120lbs and what I call running others call sitting at home eating a gallon of icecream. But hey if Swoopo can make my item be in transit twice using their state of the art time machine, then I can get to San Diego from Northern California faster than the slowest, oldest standard ground shipping delivery truck.
So if there is an item you really want on Swoopo, make sure that you lose enough money to Swoopo first, so that you have a slim chance of receiving your item. That is very important!
Have fun bidding on Swoopo! It is such a great site that is definitely worthy of breathing my air!
P.S. I gave this five stars just for kicks so I can be just like the two people who definitely AREN'T Swoopo representatives and offset the hundreds of people giving it one star. (Mr. Aaron C. and Nick S.)
P.P.S. (I have never heard of someone going to a BBB website to file a praise?...yea usually people who are very pissed off come here to rightfully tarnish the image of a fraud. If only there was someone out there who had a lot of money and lawyers that could gather the many many complaints and evidence against Swoopo and just destroy the company...hmmm if only...)
